Teeth Whitening Strips review
Ok guys, I admit, I am a big time coffee and tea drinker especially in the morning, so my teeth were stained a little yellow but nothing too bad. I decided to give these a try not expecting results but I was pleasantly surprised with their efficacy after a few applications. I previously had professional tooth whitening from my dentist 3 years ago. It cost approx $1500 and I was left with very sensitive teeth. Since then, I only use Sensodyne / Colgate as my toothpaste.
About White teeth whitening strips:
They come in pairs and are like stickers (so easy to apply). There is a bottom and a top strip. I love that that they adhere extremely well to the teeth.
How I use the Teeth whitening strips:
I apply them every 4/5 + days, don’t use them everyday. I leave them on for 20 minutes. Make sure to dry your teeth with a paper towel before applying. Don’t apply on your gums (I did it once and you don’t want to know how it felt the next morning, so don’t, stick them only on your teeth). What do I do with the excess? I fold over the excess. Ok, now about the process: I brush my teeth with Sensodyne then with a paper towel I dry my teeth then I apply the strips on my teeth and I always set an alarm on my phone (It happened once to leave my hair dye for about 2 hours, the results? hmm a lot of oils/moroccanoil and a lot of tears).
The results came shortly after applying the strips for 3 weeks, it depends on your teeth and how are they at the beginning of the process. My teeth are definetely brighter and no sensitivity at all. Would I recommend them over a professional method? No doubt with the professional whitening you could get faster results but end up like me with high sensitivity which can be avoided with these strips and who has $1500 to spend? What are your thoughts on the whitening strips? Did you use them? What were your results? I would love to hear your opinion.
